Fetal distress 태아 곤란(태아 곤란증)
Heart disease in the mother, high blood pressure, anemia, or low blood pressure can cause fetal distress.
Or, if the umbilical cord is twisted or the umbilical cord is pressed and oxygen is not supplied from the mother to the fetus well, distress may occur in the fetus.
A premature drop of the placenta, infection of the fetus, or severe malformations in the fetus can result in fetal distress.
Or, when delivery or labor lasts longer than normal, oxygen may not be supplied normally to the fetus, which may endanger the fetus’s life and cause anxiety in the fetus. Anxiety in the fetus can lead to changes in the fetus.
The fetus may not move abnormally or the fetus’s heart rate may change.
Natural delivery If delivery cannot be done immediately through the birth canal, or vaginal cavity, it is sometimes treated with drugs that reduce uterine contractions, and immediate cesarean section delivery is common. Copyright ⓒ 2014 John Sangwon Lee, MD., FAAP
