Physical, emotional and physiologic changes during the twenty-seventh week of pregnancy in the second trimester of pregnancy

Physical, emotional and physiologic changes during the twenty-seventh week of pregnancy in the second trimester of pregnancy

  • The gestation period from 14 weeks of pregnancy to 27 weeks of pregnancy is called the second trimester of pregnancy in obstetrics for convenience (the second trimester of pregnancy/the second trimester of pregnancy).
  • During the first trimester of pregnancy, almost all of the vital organs of the fetus are formed.
  • The fetus grows and develops rapidly, and during the second trimester of pregnancy, the fetus can gain up to 900 grams and the pregnant woman’s weight can increase by 5.4 kg during pregnancy (according to US statistics).
  • The 27th week of pregnancy is the last week of the second trimester. By this week, the belly of the pregnant woman is clearly enlarged due to pregnancy.
  • The baby in the womb is contained in the amniotic fluid and is protected from external bruises.
  • The energy level that was before pregnancy is restored and the secretion of estrogen female hormones is increased, which facilitates blood circulation to the female internal genitalia in the pelvis, and even more interested in sex life.
  • Also, due to the effect of estrogen, gestational brown spots can appear on the face, and kidney spots can occur on the abdomen or breast.
  • Pregnant women have a lot of special precautions during pregnancy to avoid doing things that are harmful to their own health and the health of the fetus.
  • The large uterus can compress the gastrointestinal tract, causing indigestion and a stomachache. Avoiding foods that are too spicy and irritating, and eating in small portions instead of eating too much at once, and doing proper physical exercise can help you digest better.
  • Pregnancy can make your belly bigger and your uterus bigger, which can cause back pain, a feeling of pressure on your pelvis, leg cramps, and shortness of breath. These various physical changes occur naturally during pregnancy.
  • You need to get in the right position, exercise physically, and solve the problem well until you give birth. Both the elderly and the elderly may often feel the fetus playing in the stomach.
  • It is recommended to undergo a pregnancy checkup before delivery at the 26th to 28th week of pregnancy.
  • If you do not have such a checkup, you will receive a checkup soon, and if necessary, perform a fetal ultra-sound test to see if the fetus is growing normally and if there are any abnormalities in the fetus’s kidneys, heart, spinal cord, kidneys, and legs. It’s sweaty and harder because you always have to carry and work with your baby growing in your stomach.
  • If they have not started taking pregnancy education, they will soon attend a pregnancy education class and receive training on pregnancy, delivery, postpartum recovery, and knowledge of future pregnancy, delivery, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care by a doctor, nurse, breastfeeding specialist, or Obtained from midwives, etc.
  • From the 23rd week of pregnancy, colostrum begins to secrete from the breast, and substances that can be seen in the Montgomery nodules are secreted.
  • This retention material softens the nipples and nipple rings to facilitate breastfeeding. If you haven’t yet done Kegler pelvic floor exercises as directed by your doctor, start now. In the 23-27 weeks of pregnancy, the secretion of hormones becomes constant due to pregnancy, so the emotional curves are less, less tense, and a feeling of happiness is common.
  • You can urinate a little when you laugh or cough.
  • You can gain weight due to pregnancy and gain weight, and the clothes you wear during that time may not fit. And in order to properly supply the energy needed by the fetus and the pregnant woman herself, all the body systems of the pregnant woman should function more actively.
