Miscarriage 유산
After birth, the delivery of a very immature fetus (胎芽 or 胎兒) is called a miscarriage. Miscarriage usually occurs before 12 weeks of pregnancy.
It is said that 25% of total miscarriage occurs during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. This miscarriage that occurs in the early stages of pregnancy is called an early miscarriage. In obstetrics and science, the legacy is divided into three types: complete, incomplete and
A miscarriage in which the aborted fetus and placenta are completely in the uterus is called a complete miscarriage, A miscarriage in which the placenta, part of the fetus, and other tissues resulting from pregnancy are not excreted from the uterus is called incomplete miscarriage.
A miscarriage that does not develop into a fetus, does not have any other symptoms other than vaginal discharge when abortion occurs, and that only traces of pregnancy on the Ultrasound test is called a Blighted miscarriage.
In obstetrics and science, abortion is defined as Threatened abortion, Inevitable abortion, Missed abortion, Habitual abortion, Thetapeutic abortion, Traumatic abortion, and difficult abortion. (Tubal abortion), etc., and also divided into artificial and natural heritage. Here, a description of such a problem is omitted.
The following describes a typical miscarriage.
If a pregnant woman smokes, has an older pregnancy, has fibroids in the uterus, a pregnant woman with systemic lupus erythematosus or diabetes, and has a previous history of miscarriage, it is likely to be miscarried. 50% of miscarriage during the first three months of pregnancy is due to chromosomal abnormalities that cannot survive birth. And severe diabetes, thyroid abnormalities, uterine abnormalities, genital abnormalities, etc. are the main causes of early miscarriage. The symptoms of miscarriage vary slightly depending on the number of weeks or months of pregnancy.
The main symptoms of miscarriage are uterine bleeding and abdominal pain. When miscarried, the fetus comes out of the womb, like red blood and liver lumps. Therefore, any bleeding in the uterus at any time during pregnancy should be treated immediately by a doctor.
Blood from the vagina or a miscarried fetus should be checked at the hospital to see if the miscarriage has actually occurred, and if necessary, the aborted fetus should be tested as necessary. And pregnant women should also be examined.
Sometimes seismic tests and ultra sound tests are done to see if there is a miscarriage. The fetus cannot grow and develop for various reasons until it becomes a full-term baby in the womb, or it can be born after growing and developing until it becomes a full-term baby. Before birth, the fetus can become a natural abortion by conforming to the providences of nature.
There is nothing wrong with the fetus, but some problems with the pregnant woman can cause miscarriage. However, the cause of most miscarriages cannot be found for sure. For this reason, there are many difficulties in preventing miscarriage. Copyright ⓒ 2014 John Sangwon Lee, MD., FAAP
