아기 목욕통 밑바닥에 깨끗한 수건을 깐다. 준비한 따뜻한 목욕물을 목욕통에 붓고 목욕물의 온도를 체크한다. 엉덩이를 닦아주기 전에 목욕물로 얼굴과 머리를 우선 닦아준다. 그리고 아기의 몸통과 엉덩이를 목욕통에 넣고 목욕을 시킨다. 아기가 춥지 않게 수건이나 담요로 따뜻이 싸준다.

갓 태어난 아기가 대체적으로 건강한 것 같으면 신생아실 간호사가 첫 아기 목욕을 시킨다. 배꼽에 붙어 있는 탯줄이 다 말라서 떨어질 때까지 탯줄에 물이 묻지 않도록 주의해야 한다.

탯줄에 물이 묻어도 크게 걱정할 것은 없지만 물이 탯줄에 묻으면 물 묻은 탯줄을 공기에 노출시켜 물기를 말려야 한다. 탯줄이 건사해 떨어질 때까지 아기를 스폰지나 약솜 또는 물수건 목욕을 권장한다.

젖은 기저귀를 갈아줄 때마다 기저귀 찬 부위를 깨끗한 물수건으로 잘 씻어줘야 한다. 기저귀 찬 부위에 대변이 묻었을 때는 화장지나 물수건으로 깨끗이 씻어줘야 한다.

목욕시킬 때도 따뜻한 물과 순한 비누로 기저귀 찬 부위를 씻어줘야 한다. 아기가 소변을 볼 때마다 기저귀 찬 부위를 물로 꼭 씻어줄 필요는 없다. 탯줄이 떨어진 후부터 목욕통 속에서 목욕시켜도 괜찮다. 생후 몇주 동안 어떤 의사들은 비누로 딱아줄 필요가 없다고 한다.

아기를 매일 목욕시킬 필요도 없고 머리를 매일 감겨줄 필요도 없다. 아기가 젖이나 인공영양을 토해서 몸에서 냄새가 나든지 불결하면 목욕을 시켜도 된다.

기저귀 찬 부위나 다른 부위가 불결할 때 씻을 수 있는 종이 수건은 여행갈 때나 그 외에 특별한 때 주로 쓴다.

쇠딱지 같은 가피가 붙은 두피 피부염이 아기 머리에 생길 수 있다. 이 피부염을 지루성 피부염이라고 한다. 지루성 피부염은 올리브 오일, 베이비 오일, 글리세린 로숀 또는 코티손 연고 등으로 치료한다. 대부분의 지루성 피부염은 특별한 치료없이 자연히 낫는다.

아기의 피부는 섬세하고, 곱고, 부드럽고, 아름답다. 어떤 종류의 로션, 오일, 가루분, 화장품 등으로 건강하고 아름다운 아기피부를 더 아름답게 해 줄 수 없다.

피부에 바른 가루분 화장품이나 연고 등이 피부를 자극해서 피부염을 일으킬 수 있다. 또 가루분이 호흡기 속으로 흡입되어 호흡기를 자극할 수 있다. 베이비 오일 등을 지루성 피부염에 너무 많이 바르면 그로 인해 피부염이 더 심해질 수 있다.

또 그런 것으로 인해 피부염이 생길 수 있다. 아기의 피부가 약간 건성일지라도 몇 주 동안 그냥 두고 관찰한다.

아기를 목욕시킬 때 엄마 아빠는 아기 몸에 묻은 불결한 것을 씻어주는 것도 중요하지만 아기 몸 전체를 살펴볼 수 있고, 아기의 전체적 건강상태를 체크할 수 있는 좋은 기회다.

또 목욕을 시키는 동안은 엄마, 아빠 아기가 함께 장난 칠 수 있는 좋은 기회다. 더 중요한 것은 목욕을 시킬 때 엄마 아빠는 아기에게 해줄 수 있는 신체적 접촉 사랑, 눈길 접촉 사랑을 흠뻑 해줄 수 있다.

아기에게 목욕을 시키면 아기가 더 쉽게 잠든다. 엄마, 아빠 아기 집안식구들 모두에게 적당한 시간에 아기에게 목욕을 시켜야 한다.

Put a clean towel on the bottom of your baby’s bath.

Pour the prepared warm bath water into the bathtub and check the temperature of the bath water.

Wash his face and hair first with bathwater before washing your buttocks.

Then put the baby’s torso and buttocks into a bathtub and take a bath.

If the newborn baby seems generally healthy, the nursery nurse gives the baby the first bath. Be careful not to get water on the umbilical cord until the umbilical cord attached to the navel is dry and falls off.

During the first few weeks of life, some doctors say that you don’t need soap.

You don’t need to bathe your baby every day, and you don’t need to wash your hair every day. If your baby vomits breast milk or artificial nutrition and smells or is dirty, you can take a bath. Paper towels that can be washed when the diaper is dirty or when other areas are dirty are often used when traveling or on special occasions.

Scalp dermatitis with an iron scab-like crust can develop on a baby’s head. This dermatitis is called seborrheic dermatitis.

Your baby’s skin is delicate, fine, soft, and beautiful.

Some types of lotions, oils, powders, cosmetics, etc. cannot make healthy and beautiful baby skin more beautiful. Powdered cosmetics or ointments applied to the skin can irritate the skin and cause dermatitis.

In addition, powder can be inhaled into the respiratory tract and irritate the respiratory tract. Applying too much baby oil or the like for seborrheic dermatitis can make the dermatitis worse. It can also lead to dermatitis.
