Even breastfeeding mothers can resume menstruation from the first 4-6 weeks after childbirth.
After that, menstruation can be irregular. Sometimes you may not start menstruating until you are no longer breastfeeding.
It is okay to continue breastfeeding after the nursing mother has started menstruation. If artificial nutrition is given instead of breastfeeding, menstruation usually begins around the first 4-6 weeks after childbirth.
The first menstruation after delivery can be several days longer than the one you had before pregnancy, and several days shorter.
During the months after delivery, the amount of menstruation can be much more, very little, or about the same than before pregnancy.
In general, menstruation irregularly once or twice after delivery, and after that, it is common to do it regularly as before.
And the number of menstrual days and amount is almost the same as before pregnancy. It is common for menstrual pain that occurred before pregnancy to no longer occurs after giving birth.
After delivery, the ovaries can ovulate one egg per month, even during periods not menstruating.
Because of this, sexual intercourse while not having menstruation after delivery can lead to pregnancy.
