At the time of admission to the hospital for labor 분만할 병원에 입원했을 때
Windham Hospital delivery room
When pain begins, you can’t uniformly tell when to call your doctor and let them know that your pain has started.
However, if pain and uterine contractions seem to begin, or if the pain begins to occur on a clear and regular basis, you should inform your doctor as soon as possible.
When bloody dew is visible, amniotic fluid flows out of the vagina, or pain occurs regularly, notify the doctor immediately or go directly to the hospital where the delivery is to be made. It is impossible to say at once how long to go to the hospital to be dismissed after the labor begins.
In general, it depends on the distance and time from home to the hospital, the means of transportation to the hospital, the number of weeks of pregnancy (number of months of pregnancy).
In the case of Chosan, even if labor arrives at the hospital to be dismissed every 5 minutes, there is room for a safe dismissal.
Most of elderly women are dismissed after labor continues for 8 to 12 hours. There is no need to worry too much about not being able to go to the hospital to be dismissed soon when the labor starts like this.
The total delivery time it takes for the elderly to deliver is much shorter than the total delivery time it takes for the first mother to deliver.
Hospital policies for delivery and postpartum care differ depending on the country, province, or hospital.
When a pregnant woman who is suffering from labor arrives at the hospital, the hospitalization procedure is prioritized according to the degree of pain, duration of pain, etc.
Sometimes hospitalized. In general, if it is unlikely that the child will be dismissed soon, the husband or other guardian who has gone with him can afford to do the hospitalization procedures with the pregnant woman.
However, if it is likely to be dismissed soon, the nurse will take the pregnant woman to the delivery room soon, and the husband or guardian who has gone with him will go through hospitalization procedures.
In hospitals, instead of the clothes of pregnant women who were worn at home to prepare for delivery, they change into hospital gowns. Copyright ⓒ 2014 John Sangwon Lee, MD., FAAP
