Coffee consumed by pregnant women can be harmful to the unborn baby
- Some say that the caffeine in coffee is harmful to the fetus and that it is harmless, but there are also those that drink one or two cups of coffee a day during pregnancy is okay for the fetus.
Consumption of more than 300 mg of caffeine per day can lead to the birth of underweight newborns and a risk of miscarriage.
However, it is best not to drink or eat coffee or caffeine-containing beverages or drugs during pregnancy as much as possible.
- Coffee, tea, cocoa, chocolate, and soft drinks may contain caffeine. Before you buy any food, you should read the food ingredient list to see if it contains caffeine or alcohol. This is also a prenatal school.
